My dear friend,

how are you today?

This is the first week that I managed to write this on a Friday. The sun is shining, and I can take the whole weekend off. How beautiful is that :)

The last years I’ve been working a lot - so I can work less in the future.

Sometimes we have to invest. In ourselves, in our trust, and to follow our callings.

Growing up, I always knew I was here to contribute to help people on this earth suffer less - while everyone else wanted a career.

I wanted to make sure that no one had to suffer as much as I did growing up and until I reached my forties, really - feeling misunderstood and alone most of the time - no matter how many people I had around me.

Because I was born remembering what could be - and could not understand why people would want to live in a way that is harmful to ourselves and our planet.

But everyone I knew and still most people I know living that way - because they don’t know anything else.

I always wanted to find out how to change things, so all people could be happy, and thrive.

So I left my environment, thinking I would find answers in other places.

I hoped that when I moved to other countries, I would get to know how things could work in different ways.

I hoped that in university I could learn how to change things.

And I thought I could change things with my work.

But no one had the solutions. No one lived the solutions.

So I realized that maybe instead of looking for the answers outside of me, I might have to look within. And when I did, I began to change myself, and with that, the whole world around me started to change as well.

It turned out that we carry the whole world, the whole universe and everything beyond that within ourselves.

You have the answers to every question you have within, as well - and I can show you how to access them.

Because we can have all we wish for in this life.

We can be free, creative, joyful, and loved.

But we have to dare to be different.

We have to dare to leave the trodden path, and start trusting ourselves. I always had all the answers.

“It’s no sign of health to be well-adjusted to a sick society.”

Krishnamurti said it so well.

We can all get by and continue to get sick, exhausted and overwhelmed.

But we can also choose something else.

To thrive, to enjoy and be free.

For the CREATRIX School I wrote a lot about HOW to do that, and I added exercises, and questions so you can really explore this for yourself.

Especially the first lessons in the Mindfulness Chapter (Öffnet in neuem Fenster) can help you to understand how you can change your mind to change your reality, your experiences and your emotions.

Because this is your life.

And I think it’s time to wake up each day, knowing who you really are, and to start making every day the best day of your life.

Because that’s what you were born to experience.

Lightness. Joy. Liberation.

The Trader Archetype

Like the networker, the trader knows what’s needed and where to get it. Only that their speciality isn’t people but goods and resources.

They will know which community had a surplus in their harvest and which community needs more of those resources, so he helps to make sure that all have what they need.

Today, people try to sell things for their benefit alone, but again, it’s up to us to change that and to start imagining what trade would look like when we’re all working for the highest good of all and then start doing what it takes with our own businesses.

Because all studies show, that people who work for the greater good, who create great working environments and work in a way that is sustainable – are more successful.

When we all start living and working for our highest good, then we can all have exactly what we need and how, without hurting anyone, or having to feel bad about our choices – and that way we will actually all be free.

The trader reminds you that you, too, have the possibility to trade: goods or services for money instead of working for the benefits of someone else.

And right now, it might be wise to trade something you have with someone else, in a way that you, and the other person, gain something from this exchange.

The Trader archetype is one of the practical archetypes that help us organize our lives in practical and tangible ways.

In our families, communities and in our jobs, we might have to occasionally step into these roles to get things done and to keep us all alive, but of course, we can also make these archetypes our professions. In every society, we need to take care of ourselves and others – and as long as we eat, someone needs to wash the dishes and take out the rubbish.

Yet, today, we have an opportunity to rethink how we do this and how we value this.

Again, it is incredibly important not to judge here, as sometimes we have to serve, or to assist, to learn what we have to learn before we can step into a different role, or simply to do our part to contribute to the whole. One position is not better or worse than any other, if we see that all is necessary to proceed.

What does really harm us, in our lives, is when we try to do or be something, that we’re not (yet), instead of embracing where we are now, so that we can be present to all that is, learn what we have to learn and then move on when we are ready and the time is right. So, who will you be, today?

Pulling one of these cards, invites you to bring in mediator, or communicator, or protector energies to a situation or to your life.

For doing what everyone else was doing or for being your unique, weird, funny, lovely, dorky, strange, creative, loving, smart, difficult self?

This is what you get to decide.

Once you found your answers, you can start living the life that will allow you to be seen and remembered for who you truly are and not as the one who didn’t dare to live their dreams.

Self-doubt and group thinking doesn’t just limit our abilities to act, it also limits our abilities to dream and think outside the box.

We can stay where we are, where the people around us are, or decide that we want more or something else.

Like lobsters, thrown into a pot of boiling water, we can decide if we want to hold each other down, so we all die together, or help to lift each other up so that some, or all, of us might find an escape and a chance to live a life true to ourselves – possibly even one that we can enjoy from morning until night.

No one is stopping us from living our dreams but we ourselves, by making excuses, which might sound like this:

“I don’t think I have what it takes.”

“Others have failed trying this, why should I be able to make it happen?”

“This sounds too good to be true.”

Whatever we say to keep us from living as our true selves are lies, they are fears others have passed onto us, or means to control us, and that we’ve adopted – but that doesn’t make them true.

We can do anything and everything – we just have to find it in ourselves to believe that – and we cannot do that without looking within.

We don’t have to keep a job, we don’t have to find a new job, we don’t have to struggle to survive, we can do whatever we wish – we just have to decide what that might be and then find out HOW we can do it.

Don’t let self-doubt stop you.
