My dear friend,
how are you, today? And how mindful is your life so far?
In the CREATRIX School (รffnet in neuem Fenster), we look at the thirteen key areas of our lives, to bring clarity, confidence and connection to them.
And one area is not more important than any other, if you level up in one area of your life, you will always see the benefits in all other areas as well. So you can start anywhere, any time โ as long as you start.
Consciously choosing to create change is so important because we were raised to struggle, fight, push and use force to get where we want to go, and we were told that life was hard, yet we have the power to change all that and to decide that now itโs time to attract, enjoy, love and explore.
We can all live life with ease, and we already have all we need for that โ but we will have to do is unlearn all the harmful things, weโve learned in this lifetime, and those that are genetic memories from our ancestors and past lifetimes. And in the next four weeks we will do this very consciously in the CREATRIX School (รffnet in neuem Fenster).
We will be training our mind to become more mindful, and through that, more open, more loving, more kind and more successful. Each of these chapters is special, and this one is as well.
Yet, this one is extra special, as it will be structured in a slightly different way, than the other chapters.
Usually, we spend the first week getting clear on what we would like to change, and then, in the second and third week, I share tools, stories and exercises that help us to allow for the change we wish to create, and to practice new ways of being, to then integrate and reflect, in the fourth week.
But we kind of already know what we are dealing with in this Mindfulness chapter. We all have what we can call a monkey mind, a mind that when left unattended can take us to places we donโt want to go and that are harmful for our lives, actually.
So, we will learn how to become the gentle stewards of our minds, so that our minds wonโt continue to take us where we were primed to go, but where we want them to go. And for that, we will learn and practice how to consciously decide where we want for our minds to go instead.
To do that, we have to unlearn a few ideas, that harm us in our everyday lives.
Iโve picked ten perspective shifts, which, I think, are the most groundbreaking ones when it comes to learning how to be free to decide what you really want in life, and to make it happen, and I will share these with you in this chapter.
Because, Iโm not just going to discuss the benefits of mindfulness, or tell you why it is so important to create a daily mindfulness practice, I want to help you to easily integrate a mindfulness practice into every aspect of your life, by understanding what has been keeping you from consciously choosing your thoughts so far, and Iโm going to show you exactly how you can do it.
But first things first.
What exactly do we mean when we talk about mindfulness?
This is what the Mayo Clinic says about mindfulness:
Mindfulness is a type of meditation in which you focus on being intensely aware of what youโre sensing and feeling in the moment, without interpretation or judgment. Practicing mindfulness involves breathing methods, guided imagery, and other practices to relax the body and mind and help reduce stress.
In this chapter, we wonโt be using the term mindfulness to describe a type of meditation, though, something that appears to be separate or a break from everyday life, but we will see what we can do to let mindfulness become an integral part of our lives.
Which means that our mindfulness practice, from now on, can be a part of everything that we do. And for that, we will work with triggers.
One of these triggers can be judgement.
Because every time we find ourselves (negatively) judging ourselves or someone else, we are harming ourselves, and thatโs one thing that we can begin to stop in this chapter.
We will get into this in more detail in the next lessons, but in short, judging always blocks the flow of life and keeps us from gracefully handling a situation, and it keeps us from being in the moment by bringing up opinions or memories of past situations.
Yet, if we mindfully observe a situation without judging it, we can actually find out what the best way to proceed is, and then take it.
But to be able to become a mindful observer of our actions and thoughts, though, I believe, is impossible without a regular meditation practice. And Iโm not the only one who thinks so.
Countless studies prove that meditation helps us to be more focused and present, happier, healthier and more relaxed.
If you donโt yet have a regular meditation practice, let today be the day you start because it will change your life for the better, like nothing else will.
And if youโd like to know how, hereโs how to create a regular meditation practice (รffnet in neuem Fenster).
One element that is key here, is, that it is easier to implement a rule 100% than to do it 99%.
Because if you donโt commit to doing it every day, you have to ask yourself and argue with yourself every day, if today is the right day to skip ๐ or not and that takes the energy and attention away from the actual task.
Studies have shown, that even 1 minute of meditation has significant effects on our well-being, so thereโs really no excuse โ anyone can find one minute to meditate every day.
You could even do that in the bathroom during your break at work, before you go to bed, or right after you get up.
I would recommend meditating for at least five to ten minutes because the effects will be even more noticeable, but to start, just do what seems doable for you.
Focusing on actually doing it every day is much more important than the amount of time you spend meditating.
The positive effects you will have from your daily meditation practice, will also most definitely buy you back the time you spend meditating, as you become more focused, more aware, quicker to react and gain more clarity about the direction of your life in general.
And we will use this same strategy, with the rest of the mindset shifts as well. A 100% is always easier than 99%, in everything that we do โ until it becomes our new normal, and then we donโt have to stick to any rules any more as weโve successfully reprogrammed ourselves to be kind and loving and joyful and to know that we can indeed have everything we wish for.
But to start, we have to put in the work and make that our priority.
A Quick note
People often ask me about the best apps to use for meditation, and so I really want to let you know here, that you donโt need an app to meditate.
All you need is to sit still and close your eyes and try to think of nothing. Itโs the simplest and, simultaneously, probably also the hardest thing.
But thatโs what makes it fun.
And if you think you canโt do that because you have all these thoughts coming up, it just means you will have to first let out all your thoughts and do that for ten minutes or an hour a day. Once youโve heard it all, your mind will eventually start to calm.
Why do we practice mindfulness?
Apart from the formal practice of mediation, for me, mindfulness starts with the way we talk to ourselves, so that will also be the first thing we look at in the next lesson.
As long as we spend our time judging or criticizing, blaming or shaming ourselves, weโre not going anywhere good.
So, we will start by noticing how we speak to ourselves. And you can start with this today. How do you speak with yourself? How often do you judge yourself?
The goal of establishing a mindfulness practice is to reduce stress, anxiety and to become more aware and, with that, more able to enjoy and fully participate in life.
It helps us to see things more clearly, and most of all, it helps us find more love for ourselves and all life around us, which inevitably leads to a more joyful and fulfilled life.
Many of us, me included, have grown up surrounded by voices of fear, insecurity and criticism.
These voices, however well intended they might have been, are now in our heads, and they can literally ruin our lives or at least make life pretty miserable.
But most people canโt just switch to a new language, without actually hearing somebody speak to us in different ways first.
This is why Iโve opened the CREATRIX School (รffnet in neuem Fenster), so we can basically re-parent ourselves by learning how to look at ourselves and our lives in more loving ways. And guided meditations can help a lot here, as well.
One guided meditation that I remember especially well is a morning meditation from Abiola Abrams, which starts with her saying something like: โThis is a wonderful day, simply because itโs so beautiful to know that you are alive.โ
I cried every time I heard her say that in the beginning because nobody had ever said something so nice to me before.
I needed to hear other people say nice things to me, before I could really start to say them to myself, and Iโm sharing this with you, because itโs nothing to be ashamed of, and it might be true for you too.
Most people donโt know how much better their lives can get, because theyโve never personally known or interacted with someone who does live a better life.
So if youโve dealt with a lot of criticism growing up, you might be in for a big surprise, and might not even be able to believe just yet, how much better your life will get, once you stop constantly criticizing yourself. This is important
Way too often people think, meditation or mindfulness or self-love or other nice and beneficial things are not for them, or that they canโt do these things, when really, they just donโt know how, or think it needs to work the first time they try.
This just takes time, practice and patience, however.
You start by listening to other people say nice things to you, and my favourite โ listen especially closely whenever you think: this is silly, this is ridiculous, no one talks like that, this makes me uncomfortable.
Whenever that happens, you are precisely where you need to grow.
In that moment, you probably hear the words you think you donโt deserve. But you do. And, even if itโs hard, in those moments you have to go against your rebellion, and continue to listen until you can accept it.
You can think of your mind as a wild stallion. Weโve all been raised in the wilderness to some extent. We had to protect ourselves. Teachers, parents and other kids didnโt know how to be kind and gentle and unconditionally loving, because no one had shown them. And we werenโt either, as long as we just did what everyone else was doing.
But now we become circle breakers because we believe we deserve more, and future generations deserve more as well.
So, like the wild stallion who is afraid of people, you will have to show yourself, consistently, that you are not going to harm yourself any more, by being mean and hostile and judgmental.
Can you imagine talking to yourself for one whole day, only saying nice things to yourself? Again, itโs something you can start trying. How would it feel if you were kind and loving to yourself? If you could be your safe space?
We, our bodies, are always in vibration, and every thought and every word creates a vibration that has an effect on us.
The more mindful we become, the more loving and kind we become towards ourselves, the more we raise our vibration.
And the more we wonโt live in constant fear of judgement any more, or worse, and with that, the better we get at being nice to ourselves, the better our circumstances become, the less sh** we tolerate from others and the more ease, joy, success and love we find.
We really have the power to change everything that we want, even the way we think about ourselves or how we speak to ourselves โ we might just not know how โ yet.
I dedicate my life to helping people learn the basic, but fundamental things to live happy, healthy and free lives because I believe that this is what weโre here for โ to enjoy our lives, every moment of them, and to expand and explore, feel and love freely.
We are not here to cope and struggle to get by โ we are here to thrive, and if you decide to join us, you will see what a difference it makes to be mindful and consciously direct your thoughts.ย
And as always, thereโs a playlist and a colour to support us with our topic, so check them out as well. But first, letโs have a look at our archetype of the week.

Divine Child Archetype
The Divine Child Archetype represents the most blissful part of ourselves, which has a direct connection to the higher consciousness and operates on a high frequency.
The Divine Child is less about action and exploring (like the Magical or Curious Child), but rather about being present and connected, open, tapped in and joyfully in the moment.
The Divine Child Archetype becomes active when we are completely present, able to establish a connection to our higher self and tap into this knowing and blissful connection with ease.
While the Nature Child makes sure we connect with all that is alive around us, the Divine Child is responsible for our connection to the invisible energies and subconscious connection to source.
Separation from source is a painful experience and reinforced by life in the matrix, yet the Divine Child is here to help us to overcome this feeling of separation.
It is always waiting for us to call on it, when we feel lonely or donโt know where to turn. Itโs our personal connection to the all-knowing and all-loving source.
Itโs in you, just waiting to be activated again.

The Inner Child Archetypes (รffnet in neuem Fenster) are the first group of archetypes within the Relational Archetypes, as they represent the internal parts of ourselves and show us how we first related to ourselves, other people and our surrounding.
Each of these Inner Child parts can be found in each of us.
Depending on how we were raised and the experiences we had growing up, some of these might be stronger or weaker than others as a default. But nothing is set in stone when it comes to our lives.
The more we raise our consciousness, and awareness, and learn to act purposefully, the more we will be able to see that we can decide which part of ourselves takes over in any given moment and with that empower ourselves, instead of letting old (unhelpful) patterns unfold automatically.
The other three Relational Archetypes include the Family Archetypes (รffnet in neuem Fenster), the Friendship Archetypes (รffnet in neuem Fenster) and the Romantic Archetypes (รffnet in neuem Fenster), which represent the different roles we (may) take on when it comes to relationships โ with friends, family or partners.

The prompt for this week is: โWhat do you do for more inner peace?โ
Have you joined your CREATRIX Crews (รffnet in neuem Fenster) - yet? If not, why not? Itโs still free, and itโs a wonderful thing to have a support system in place as we move through whatever this year might present us with. ๐
A CREATRIX Crew (รffnet in neuem Fenster) consists of eight people who are ready to support each other on their ascension journey, or self-actualization journey, or their journey through life, by backing up each otherโs intentions and supporting each other in practical & spiritual ways - when it comes to business, health or life in general.
And so we can get to know each other better, without it taking up too much time and space, I post a prompt each week - which the current crew leader posts in their CREATRIX Crew (รffnet in neuem Fenster) messenger group, for all crew members to answer.

Learn how to overcome negative thinking and become a kind and gentle steward of your mind
Our soul came to this earth to have a certain kind of experience and to contribute in meaningful ways, and our body is the vessel it uses โ we use โ to be in the world. But who decides what happens in our lives?
In this chapter of the CREATRIX School (or 4-week course), we will explore how we can shape and reshape our lives with the way we think. Our mind is the conductor of our body and if we donโt learn how to choose our thoughts consciously, we donโt have the power to change our lives. But we can learn how to change our thoughts and our lives โ if thatโs what we wish to do โ and Iโll show you how in this chapter.
Individual courses are โฌ35 each. Membership options providing you with access to all 13 courses/chapters start at โฌ15/month.

The colour black invites us inside to meet ourselves, to have a look at our internal world and inner wisdom, to see how to make sense of the things we sense and see - and to reflect on them so that we can move on and forward in the best possible way.
When we close our eyes to the outside world, we can explore our inner world.
And there we can connect to all that exists.
But to be able to access this information we need to know how to calm our minds enough, and we need to learn to trust what we see or find there.
Itโs a place of limitless possibility.
The Wheel of Colours has 13 fields and 13 colours โ each field represents a different challenge, gift or lesson which we have to master in our lifetimes and the colours in our unique wheel show each of us how we can master them best, with our unique abilities.
We are all made up of the same colours, but the colours are arranged differently for each of us on our wheels.
For example, black is the colour for meditation, introspection & reflection.
And if black appears in one of the first six fields of your wheel, you probably find looking within and exploring your inner world quite easy, and do it in everyday situations, whereas when black appears in the last six fields, this might be something that you only learn to explore later in your life.
However, to live a fulfilled life, and thrive, we all need to learn how to reflect, and access our inner wisdom.
