Polling day marred by postal vote failures
Tens of thousands of Britons abroad denied their vote
As polling day dawns, tens of thousands of Britons overseas will be asking where is my postal ballot or will my vote be counted?
New Europeans UK, together with our partners Unlock Democracy and British Overseas Voters Forum are conducting a survey of Britons abroad to track the mailing of postal votes in different countries around the world.
Sampling of the results has already shown that many Britons abroad will miss out on the election because they did not receive their ballots in time.
If you live abroad and would like to take part in the survey, please click here:
Our campaign is gathering traction, reflecting the anger and dismay felt by all who care about the right to vote, not just those directly affected.
