What’s a campaign calendar?

Think of it as your roadmap for the year ahead. A campaign calendar helps you:

  • Stay on track with your goals.

  • Make the most of key dates and moments.

  • Save time by planning ahead.

It doesn’t have to be complicated. Start by jotting down your goals for the year, marking important dates (like holidays or events your audience loves), and deciding who’s handling what.

Pro Tip: Plan at least three campaigns this year to keep things fresh and exciting for your members.

What kinds of campaigns should you plan?

There are two big ones to focus on:

1. Acquisition Campaigns. These are all about bringing in new members. You can:

  • Offer special deals, like discounts or free trials.

  • Create time-sensitive content (think: Valentine’s Day exclusives or a limited-time holiday bundle).

2. Retention Campaigns. These keep your current members happy and reactivate expired ones. Try:

  • Sending renewal reminders at the right time.

  • Reaching out to expired members with a “we miss you” offer.

Now that you know how to plan your year, here’s what we’re cooking up for you in the next six months:

1. More tools to grow your membership

  • If you have your own website, you’ll gain tools to convert more visitors into members, with insights into layer performance and the option to let us optimize them for you. Not using Steady layers yet? Set them up here (Abre numa nova janela).

  • If Steady is your membership landing page, you’ll soon have access to layers previously only available on external websites. This means you can manage the entire marketing funnel directly on Steady. Use segmentation tools to target the right audience with tailored messages.

2. Greater flexibility in pricing

  • You’ll also have more control over pricing. Introduce discounts, adjust rates to account for inflation, and use the new segmentation tools to send the right offers to the right users through targeted email campaigns.

3. A smoother Steady experience

  • Finally, we’re simplifying Steady’s backend. A refreshed design will make it easier for you—and your members—to navigate and enjoy.
