West Leeds Dispatch has lots to celebrate in May. It's our 7th birthday, we're officially opening our community newsroom and there's a new edition of our printed newspaper due out.

Over the past seven years we have built a people-powered news organisation, telling the story of West Leeds and its communities. And we wouldn't still be here if it wasn't for support from people like yourself.

To thank you for your support we'd like to invite you to our special birthday celebration and official opening of our community newsroom on Thursday, 26 May 2022, 7pm-9pm.

We'll have hot food, with catering by the fabulous Deeva Restaurant in Farsley, and there will also be drinks, a cake, one or two (brief) speeches and other activities to help shape the future of WLD as we cut the ribbon at our new community newsroom at Bramley Lawn Social Centre.
