Autism is a nervous system disability. It may seem obvious, but it took me a long time to put that together.

Neurological conditions by definition impact the nervous system, because the nervous system begins in our brains. But we don’t make that connection so readily, because the diagnostic criteria for these ‘disorders’ rarely if ever mention the nervous system.
