On 24 July, the esteemed fashion designer, founder of Community Clothing, and popular judge on The Great British Sewing Bee, will be joining Crafts members online to discuss his book, Less: Stop Buying So Much Rubbish. This passionate and eye-opening work delves into his love for clothes and his concerns about the flawed global fashion system.

As he said in an article for Crafts (Öffnet in neuem Fenster)' Autumn/Winter 2022 issu (Öffnet in neuem Fenster)e: 'I still have clothes that I bought in my teens that are in good condition. But who will want a second-hand fast-fashion garment in 30 years? We need to learn to feel happier with less, and to find joy in well-crafted objects that get better the more we use them.'
