Episode 47: Review/Preview with Gladbach, Heidenheim and Hertha

Dear listeners,

in our latest review/preview of the summer break, we are joined by Borussia Moenchengladbach beat writer Jannik Sorgatz from newspaper "Rheinische Post" who also does a podcast on the so-called foals called "Fohlenfutter". He'll try to make sense of the comings and goings amid Gladbach's huge rebuilding effort, which saw almost all of their key attacking players leave with french striker Marcus Thuram, captain Lars Stindl, German national player Jonas Hofmann as well as Algerian left back Ramy Bensebaini. Manager Daniel Farke was let go after the season and he'll try to help Leeds get back to Premier League football next season. He was replaced by former Leverkusen manager Gerardo Seoane an he will try to keep the new look foals from relegation.

The other teams we'll look at are newcomers Heidenheim, who are going to play their first ever season in the top flight and Hertha BSC, who will need to start a rebuild as big as Gladbach but with less financial means.
