Hi, and welcome back to agenda - got plans?, a newsletter featuring a curated selection of art, design, and fashion events in Berlin. I'm Kate, a freelance journalist, Berlin local, and art/design lover. I hope my newsletter makes it a bit easier for you to navigate through everything this city has to offer.
This week’s newsletter is special, as Berlin Fashion Week will take place from Monday to Thursday. And even if you’re not interested in fashion, there are some exciting events happening these days!

Monday | HTW Fashion Magazine Release at Platte
Celebrate the release of the latest HTW fashion magazine on the first day of Berlin Fashion Week. The issue is a collaboration with the interdisciplinary arts collective Sparts. Go get a copy (print is not dead yet!) at Platte Berlin for a smooth start to fashion week.

Monday | Film screening
On Monday, Japanisch-Deutsches Zentrum Berlin invites to an open day, including a film screening of “Illuminating the Future: Fashion Designer Nakazato Yuima's Latest Couture Journey”. Tuesday | New Wave Designer Showroom
Visit Reference Forum: New Wave Designers at Reference Studios. Check out the work of uprising designers Amesh, Katharina Dubbick, COLRS by Zek Meire, Ioannes and P.L.N. When you’re in the area, stop by the C.P. Company “LABORATORIO” installation, which is more or less around the corner.

Wednesday | Exhibition “Fashion Forever”
This exhibition, taking place in the Swedish embassy, highlights the progress of the Swedish fashion and textile industry towards a circular economy. The exhibition also features some of Sweden's leading pioneers, who are at the forefront of this transformative journey.
You can visit the exhibition without prior registration. Admission is free.
