OA1The Thank You Card Is Complete
The first of what I hope to be a series of cards has just been completed.
This card in my own style featuring elements from early medieval Irish manuscripts and the Tengwar writing system developed by JRR Tolkien for his Middle-earth ‘Legendarium’ is a ‘Thank You’ card.
Cards like this had been on my mind for some time, and after the popularity of the Xmas card that I designed for the Tolkien Society last year I have decided to make a series of these which I will make available when I have six or seven complete.
I haven’t decided yet how I’m going to make them available. My options are directly from my Inprnt store, have them printed and sell on Etsy, or initially to only sell them at events like Oxonmoot, gauge the reception and see where that takes me.
This one is inspired by the initial four people who chose to support me on this Steady journey. It merely reads ‘Thank you, thank you’. I really didn’t expect to have any supporters on this platform and to have four already is amazing. So, from the bottom of my heart ‘Thank you, thank you’, you are amazing.
Today I started on the second card, It’s a birthday card. I will have updates on this for you next week.
Thank you for all your support.
Regards,
Mick.
