Welcome to the Steady Growth Newsletter — today, we write to you as a team. Since the start of the year, we've been hard at work overhauling our website integration, the Steady Code, with a focus on boosting your growth. Now, we're nearly ready to launch it. Ready to learn what’s new?

Our brand-new website integration, rolling out soon

Steady Code 2.0 opens up a realm of possibilities by letting you incorporate Layers (like the Paywall Layer) and Embeds (like the Plans Embed, which you may remember as Checkout) directly into your website, regardless of the CMS you're using.

We've invested an enormous amount of time and resources for this rewrite. The result? An improvement in performance, a fresh, modern look to catch your visitors' attention, and the elimination of the need for third-party cookies, which are being phased out in many browsers.

Despite the extensive overhaul, Steady Code 2.0 is 100% compatible with the existing integration. This means you won't have to worry about making any adjustments on your site. It's a seamless transition that's designed to make your life easier — the first of many upcoming features that will help you enhance your conversion rate and expand your audience.

We're set to roll out Steady Code starting in June. If you're interested in joining the beta group, we encourage you to join our Slack channel (Öffnet in neuem Fenster). It's a great place to share your thoughts, experiences, and suggestions. In the meantime, here's what you can expect.

Upgrades to the paywall

The Paywall has been revamped and is now available in two formats: as a Layer or an Embed. The Layer option will hide the entire page content until people become paying members. The Embed, on the other hand, will only hide specific parts of an article. This gives you more control and flexibility in managing your content and its accessibility to your audience.

In addition to these changes, we're introducing two new advanced options for the Paywall.

• A smaller version of the Embed, offering a more streamlined and less intrusive option for your website.

• A tracking parameter to monitor the conversion rates of specific articles and campaigns. This enables you to identify the most successful strategies and adjust your approach accordingly.

Introducing the new Announcement Layer

The Announcement Layer replaces the Floating Button, bringing a new level of flexibility and customisation to your hands. You can display it selectively on certain pages or groups of pages, enabling a tailored approach to your audience interaction. This feature comes in two sizes — big and small — to suit different needs and visually complement your website design.

But the customisation doesn't stop there. You can write custom text, add an image and even add a custom button, increasing engagement and giving you full control over the message and call-to-action that you want to deliver to your audience.

So, how do you make the most of it? Great use cases include highlighting breaking news or promoting special offers. But possibilities are endless, and we can't wait to see your creative applications.

• Later this year, we'll introduce a Dynamic Paywall. This smart tool will use visitor data to present the most effective offers, enhancing your conversion rate.
