Opportunity Spotlight: Summer Studios at V&A South Kensington

Drop into the V&A’s Summer Studios (Öffnet in neuem Fenster) for a series of free creative workshops with Tyreis Holder.  (Öffnet in neuem Fenster) For the next 5 Tuesdays, the artist, poet, visual storyteller and community arts practitioner is inviting aspiring and emerging creatives to expand their creative skill sets and meet like minded people.

The workshops include Aromatherapy Textile pouch making (Öffnet in neuem Fenster), Block Printing, Textile Flag Making (Öffnet in neuem Fenster) and Carnival Headdress & Jewellery Making (Öffnet in neuem Fenster). 

Holder creates installations, textiles, performance, poetry, sculpture and sound. Her practice explores self and identity politics, relationships of the mind in generational & ancestral healing, spirituality, and navigating colonial spaces.
