5 Things We Learned At Kathryn Hewitson’s Workshop
This week, we round up the key takeaways & best advice from Pristine founder Kathryn Hewitson’s workshop that we hosted this Tuesday.
Kathryn Hewitson (Öffnet in neuem Fenster) is a celebrated fashion designer based in London. Hewitson has previously worked for Roksanda and Ashley Williams before joining Rokit Originals as Head of Design. In 2021, Kathryn launched her own label, Pristine (Öffnet in neuem Fenster). Inspired by vintage glamour and punk tenacity, the brand celebrates feminine sexuality, subculture and craftsmanship.
Since its inception, Pristine has steadily garnered a loyal following across social media and in London’s fashion it-girl circles, including viral fashionista Julia Fox (Öffnet in neuem Fenster), punk icon Amy (Öffnet in neuem Fenster) of Amyl and the Sniffers (Öffnet in neuem Fenster), and drag artist Dakota Schiffer (Öffnet in neuem Fenster). As the brand has grown, Kathryn has become an outspoken advocate for independent designers and the difficulties they face.
