Opportunity Spotlight: Summer Studios at V&A South Kensington

Drop into the V&A’s Summer Studios (Opens in a new window) for a series of free creative workshops with Tyreis Holder.  (Opens in a new window) For the next 5 Tuesdays, the artist, poet, visual storyteller and community arts practitioner is inviting aspiring and emerging creatives to expand their creative skill sets and meet like minded people.

The workshops include Aromatherapy Textile pouch making (Opens in a new window), Block Printing, Textile Flag Making (Opens in a new window) and Carnival Headdress & Jewellery Making (Opens in a new window). 

Holder creates installations, textiles, performance, poetry, sculpture and sound. Her practice explores self and identity politics, relationships of the mind in generational & ancestral healing, spirituality, and navigating colonial spaces.
