Small Business Stories: Saffron Music

This week, the BRICKS team turns the spotlight to Bristol based Saffron Music, operating as a record label and global digital community working to increase representation of women, trans and non-binary folk, as well as BIPOC artists, in the music industry.

Growing steadily since 2015, Saffron Music (Opens in a new window). engages with thousands of creatives across the world, offering accessible resources like courses, mentoring, a members club and workshops for those interested in music production, DJing and beyond. We had the chance to speak to Billie Croucher, Saffron’s Members and Comms Manager, about the community’s inception, the importance of its mission and the key tenets to running a creative collective.
