she came upon a wall
a wall? she asked
it isn't bold
it isn't hard
it blocks my way
but I can see through
can't I break it
because it looks like it poses
no threat
but what lies behind
she wants to seek
fear doesn't grip her
for in her heart
she aims to be brave
but the choices she sees
to be brave are actually
what she needs to fear
she pushes and breaks the
wall
but wall was meant to keep her in
to hold her feelings and emotions tight
but now she let the shadows in
tears then filled her eyes
because she knew
she left her soul exposed to fate
