New issue alert! There’s a fresh new issue of The Reykjavík Grapevine on the streets of Reykjavík and in select locations around the country right now! And when I say it’s “fresh,” I mean it. It’s a whole new design to bring the Grapevine into its 20th year. We love it.

The cover star of the May 5 issue is none other than Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir, who you may know from the multi-award-winning band Of Monsters and Men. Nanna dropped her debut solo album, How To Start A Garden, on May 5, a warm, beautiful and intimate reflection on life and solitude.
