Join us for our annual meeting

Find out more about our programmes, activities and events and how you can be involved

Thursday, 26 June | 16:00 CET | Online

On behalf of New European People’s Forum, we are pleased to invite you to attend our Annual General Meeting (AGM).

This year, under the slogan Shaping Europe from the ground up, we come together to reflect on our shared achievements, set priorities for the year ahead, and reaffirm our commitment to people-centred policy-making.

Our guest speaker this year is Xhabir Deralla, founder and head of CIVIL - Center for Freedom, based in North Macedonia (see below).

Xhabir will talk about his work as a civil rights activist and democracy defender and how this relates to the work of New European People’s Forum.

We will also present the report we published jointly with CIVIL and Media Dialogue (Si apre in una nuova finestra) (based in Germany), called Defending Democracy and Human Rights (Si apre in una nuova finestra), based on the international conference we held together in Skopje in December 2024.

This is the first chance we have had to come together and update you following the merger between Europe’s People’s Forum and New Europeans International last year. We look forward very much to seeing you and reporting on progress.

Please register below to receive the Zoom link and the full agenda:

Founded in 1999, CIVIL – Center for Freedom is a North Macedonia–based civil society organization working nationally, regionally, and globally to advance democracy, human rights, and counter hybrid warfare and aggression.

CIVIL is recognized for its work in election monitoring, media literacy, and disinformation analysis, and plays a key role in promoting democratic resilience.
