Greenwich Wire update: Our Steady page will close soon - please switch to our new system

Dear Greenwich Wire member,

Thanks for your generous support of the website - your monthly payments via Steady are a real help in paying the bills, giving me a part-time wage and getting outside help to make The Greenwich Wire the best it can be.

You may have already read on the website (Si apre in una nuova finestra) that we’ve making a change to our membership systems - we’re bringing it in-house. That means, eventually, we’ll be closing this Steady account.

Steady’s been great for us, but bringing the system in-house means…

• You no longer have to pay VAT, so you save money

• We save a bit of money on processing fees

We also may be able to do some member-only features such as newsletters. Because our payments are currently stretched across Steady, PressPatron and Patreon, it’s very fiddly to do this - having one system will make this easier. And I’m conscious we don’t do enough to thank those that give their hard-earned cash to us.

If you get a moment this weekend - or at some point soon - then please take the time to sign up on our new system at this address:
