My birthplace : Mazandaran

I live in Mazandaran for 19 years.

Mazandaran is an Iranian province with friendly and kind people. It's located in the north of Iran, on the southern coast of the Caspian sea.It's not a populated province.

It's a four season city. It rains a lot and a bit cold in Winters. It's warm and humid in summers. It's cool and windy in falls and It's mild and cool in springs.

Local people in Mazandaran are rice farmer and rancher. There are a lot of rice paddies in my city. My city is a major rice producer in my country.

Food is an important part of my city's culture. There are a lot of delicious local food in my city. Mahi_e_shekam por, Beryoon and Morq_e_shekam por are some of the most famous local food in my city. We usually eat Beryoon at the weddings.

Local language in my city is Mazani. It's spoken in various accents in different parts of my city. Nowadays people speak Mazani  less than in the past so Mazani language is endangered.

The most popular sports in
Mazandaran are wrestling and weightlifting. Hasan Yazdani is a wrestler who lives in Mazandaran. He won a lot of medals in freestyle
wrestling. Behdad Salimi is a weightlifter who lives in Mazandaran too. He won many medals in weightlifting. They are the pride of our city and country.

The house of Nima Yooshij where is also his tomb is located in Mazandaran. Nima yooshij is one of the most famous poet in my country . He was born in Mazandaran. Ey Shab, Afsaneh and Manely are some of his books. He is the father of modern persian poetry.

Despite the beautiful nature of Mazandaran, there aren't enough fecilities here.
I'm not satisfied with public transportation in Mazandaran. There are not many bus stations and train stations here. There aren't any subway stations, so we usually travel by our cars.
There are not many theatres, cinemas  and hotels in Mazandaran.
I like my city, especially its nature, but sometimes it is boring for me.
