KETTLEBELL HARD!

It’s all about “the GAINZ, Bruh!”
I’m only kinda joking.

I mean, seriously - what’s the point of training if you don’t notice or can’t measure any changes?

It’s like sitting in a parked car with the engine running, but going nowhere.
Know what I mean?
Which brings me to my point:
Variety.
Some care for it or crave it.
Others don’t.
Me?
I go through phases of needing it and being perfectly content with not having it.
Many times summer is one of those seasons.
And it’s fast approaching here in the Northern Hemisphere.
As a result, one of my favorite things to do is take my bells outside and train on my deck or in my backyard where I can stare at the mountains between sets.
The Sun + Fresh Mountain Air + KBs = Peace / Tranquility + GAINZ.
And since summer is usually filled with family activities, I find the easiest way for many folks to get their variety in and cover all their bases -
[+] Strength
[+] Conditioning
[+] Time efficiency
[+] Beer & BBQ mitigation
Is the good ol’ fashioned double kettlebell complex.
In 15 minutes, 3 days a week, you can check all your boxes.
And you can do it without “feeling guilty” about missing something.
There’s something deeply satisfying about huffing and puffing while fighting muscular fatigue out in the afternoon sun.
Grab KBs.
Start timer.
Get to work.
Catch breath between sets.
Complete prescribed sets.
Wipe sweat from face.
Done.
In my book, double kettlebell complexes are the “Whole Enchilada” -
They work:
[+] Your pushing muscles
[+] Your pulling muscles
[+] Your legs (front and back)
[+] Your core
[+] Your heart and lungs
[+] Your subconscious brain’s desire for variety and novelty
[+] Your “challenge button”

The simplest example of a double kettlebell complex is the following:

5 Double Cleans + 5 Double Front Squats + 5 Double Presses
If you’re skilled in the double KB lifts, and just want to be and feel “all round strong,” then double KB complexes are probably the way to go for you.
If you want a variety of double KB complexes, I’ll leave a link to one of my programs that has 39 of them in the video description below.
Stay Strong,
Geoff
