My dear friend,

How are you, today? It’s been raining and storming a lot here today.

When I left for a walk with my dog, it was quite warm, but while we were in the woods another storm started and we both got so wet.

Not even the biggest trees could protect us from the rain.

Eventually, we found shelter in a little house in the playground - but we still had to walk home soaking wet. It was quite a fun and enlivening adventure.

I’m also back in Hamburg and starting to get back to my old routine, and before the new week starts, I wanted to talk a little bit about choosing between fear and love and daring greatly.

Every day, every moment, every second we get to choose between love and fear.

You might not always be aware of it, but it is always true.

When you lock your door at night, do you do it out of love or fear?

I had people break into my home more than once, and one time I was at home, sleeping, while they emptied the rest of my flat.

For years, I lived with fears. Yet, today, I would gladly choose not to lock my door, and to trust that nothing will happen. Because bad things can only happen to us when we allow for them - and that means accepting that they are a possibility.

This might sound like a far stretch, but just feel the truth of it in your heart.

And this isn’t just true for our homes, it is true about everything in our lives - as we create our realities based on what we believe about the world. Which is why it matters so greatly to change our beliefs if they don’t serve us any more.

No matter about what.

So I’d like to talk a bit more about love.

On April first, I met someone online.

Megh, who you can see with me in the picture above. She lives in Detroit, I live in Hamburg. We wrote each other a few messages, and then met up for a video chat, and it quickly turned into hours of conversations each day.

Last week she came to visit me, we finally met in person, and we spent eight days exploring different parts of Germany together.

Yet, it never felt new. It felt like we were always meant to be together.

We would have had so many reasons to be afraid.

We didn’t actually know each other, we lived far apart, but we dared to follow our hearts and I couldn’t be happier about that. If we weren’t already in love with each other before we met - we definitely are now.

So, an exciting new future is waiting for me, for us.

I’m sharing this with you, to encourage you to dare greatly as well.

Before meeting Megh, I had so many protections in place.

I considered everything that I didn’t want and that I had experienced in the past when it came to love and relationships. Which is always a good first step when it comes to finding out what we do want to have in our lives.

But honestly, now I see that there is no logic or rational explanation for why my past relationships didn’t work - I just hadn’t met my person yet because I didn’t believe that I could actually meet someone so amazing and have exactly what I wished for all my life.

Because only when we dare greatly, and demand only the best, can we find the right person, and experience that nothing else matters but love. I do feel like we do have to believe that that is possible first.

Even if everyone else is okay with compromising. We have free choice, after all.

So we can close doors, and protect ourselves, thinking we live in an unpredictable world, like I did in the past, or we can open them and invite people in and trust that things will work out, and nothing bad can happen.

This is true for our actual doors or the metaphorical ones.

What will you choose from now on?

I know that it can be difficult to choose love, when we grew up with fear, but it’s so worth it. And if you’d like to overcome some or all of your fears and open up to much more love - message me or book a coaching or card reading with me.

After the investigator has done their research, it’s time to let everyone know about the results.

The communicator is the person, who lets the community know what is necessary for them to know. They can make announcements or tell people where they are needed, what or who is necessary for a certain project and why.

They are good with words and like being in contact with different people all day long.

And communication can happen in so many forms. In some villages in the mountains in Turkey, people came up with different whistles, to let those on the other side of the valley know what is going on in their village.

Or we can use drums or other instruments, or bells to bring people together and to communicate a message.

I actually lived in a village in Ukraine for a while, before mobile phones were common, where many people didn’t have clocks and structured their days according to the sounds of the church bells.

So we have many means to communicate, through words, actions, signs, pictures, smells or sounds.

When pulling this card, you are invited to communicate what you feel and think - your ideas - with the rest of the world.

Let’s get things started

The practical archetypes help us organize our lives in practical and tangible ways.

In our families, communities and in our jobs, we might have to occasionally step into these roles to get things done and to keep us all alive, but of course, we can also make these archetypes our professions. In every society, we need to take care of ourselves and others – and as long as we eat, someone needs to wash the dishes and take out the rubbish.

Yet, today, we have an opportunity to rethink how we do this and how we value this.

Again, it is incredibly important not to judge here, as sometimes we have to serve, or to assist, to learn what we have to learn before we can step into a different role, or simply to do our part to contribute to the whole. One position is not better or worse than any other, if we see that all is necessary to proceed.

What does harm us, in our lives, is when we try to do or be something, that we’re not (yet), instead of embracing where we are now, so that we can be present to all that is, learn what we have to learn and then move on, when we are ready and the time is right.

So, who will you be, today?

With each chapter of the CREATRIX School we also explore a different colour - which supports us with the topic of the CREATRIX School. In this moon phase, this colour is yellow and yellow, among other things, stands for warmth & unconditional love.

The colour yellow is the classical second colour in the Wheel of Colours (Opens in a new window) because when we believe in ourselves (first colour, red), we can make even more possible, once we start to collaborate with other people and give and receive support, unconditional love, and have each other’s backs – which is what the colour yellow stands for.

And there’s no better place to practice this, than with our families.

It also helps us to understand how we can use our feelings and emotions to help us guide ourselves back to our true and loving essence.

This is the design I’ve created to represent the colour yellow in the Wheel of Colours.

I worked with geometric patterns, which I drew with compasses and filled with colour, and then I digitally modified it with flower collages I also created, until I would reach an image that represented the essence of this colour.

I really like that this image/poster shows the warmth of love. It shows the joyful fiery expression of love, that at the same time, often feels fragile and layered and comes in different shades.

Inviting this poster into your home can connect you to your inner warmth, your authenticity and love, and it can help you to feel unconditionally loved as well.

The WARMTH poster represents one of the qualities of the colour yellow, and asks us to find the warmest spot within our hearts.

Often, we have learned to play it cool, and to keep it safe, instead of opening up to love and letting our hearts guide us.

Today, we are asked to change that and to open up fully.

Our heart will always lead us to where we need to be. So be warm, open, kind and loving and let the magic happen.
