Welcome to April - would spring begin, please?
When I wrote that the snow was beginning to thaw (Opens in a new window) in Berlin I had probably forgotten that April has a tendency to offer us all weathers from any angle. Also, having moved to Thuringia I have not failed to notice that winters here are way colder than in other parts of the country I have lived in.
