Meet the Grim Creeper

Hey there, beloved High Five Club members and prospective members,

It's your friends at the Reykjavík Grapevine with some fresh content to feast your eyes upon.

We've been busy bees at Grapevine HQ. Work has started on our February issue — it's going to be a doozy! — and we're rolling out content from our January issue (Opens in a new window) online for your enjoyment.

Head to Grapevine.is (Opens in a new window) for the latest.

If you haven't seen it yet, be sure to tune in to our YouTube channel (Opens in a new window) to check out the debut video in our Islanders series (Opens in a new window), in which our staff writer Iryna Zubenko profiles people doing interesting things in Iceland. In the spotlight this month is Alexandra Ingvarsdóttir, a computer science major at Reykjavík University and roller derby badass who goes by the name "Grim Creeper." Yas!

Grapevine Event Reminder! Our Reykjavík Grapevine Music Awards (Opens in a new window) Ceremony is coming up on January 20. The event gets underway at 20:00 at Loft Hostel, with an awards ceremony followed by performances from award winners.

That's it from us this week.

<3 Team Grapevine

If you were a member of our High Five Club, this post would have included a link for VIP access to our 2023 Music Awards Ceremony, a sneak peek at the night's performers, discount codes for the Grapevine store and more. Want all that?
