We made cancelling your membership as easy as possible, and you can do it any time.

1. Go to your Memberships (Opens in a new window) page.

2. Click “Cancel plan” on the membership you want to cancel.

3. Cancel your membership. For monthly memberships, you can also schedule your cancellation one or several months in the future. For annual memberships, you can also request an extraordinary cancellation before the end of the year (subject to approval).

By supporting a creator on Steady, you are helping creators stay independent from ads and algorithms. That way creators can continue creating the content you love.

Our belief is: Memberships are the key to independence for creators. Members support the projects they can't do without and they do this long-term with regular payments. Not because they have to, but because they want to. Memberships are more dependable than advertisements and more sustainable than donations.

Memberships also come with real perks. As a member, you can chat with the creator via direct message. Some memberships also include access to exclusive content, Slack or Discord groups, events or special mentions and even merchandise.

On Steady, there are no one-time payments to creators. We want to enable creators to gain financial independence so that they can focus on creating the content you love. To do so, we want to help creators secure continuous support from paying members.

Of course, you can always cancel your membership after the first payment if you decide it's no longer for you.

You can use PayPal, Apple Pay, Credit Cards and Direct Debit to pay for your membership. Not all payment methods are available for every country and currency.
