Early Access: Episode 2 of An Opera Singer and a Comedian Walk Into a Bar

Sending along early access to episode 2 of An Opera Singer and a Comedian Walk Into a Bar - conversations from the high/low art divide with Nicholas Anthony and Ema Katrovas - which will be out on October 21st.

This episode is called "The True Hollywood Experience" - Nick goes down the memory line of his Hollywood years, complete with agents and writers’ rooms and making sizzles. We also talk about the NACAs (National Association for Campus Activities), something I’ve never heard of before but which apparently launches some performance careers in the US. We talk about the beautiful netherworld of regional entertainment scenes (my personal favorite topic and one I think “high-art” people can learn from). We also talk about the disappearance of the Hollywood middle-class, and we do a little detour on the 80-year-old mime living behind a curtain who used to be Nick’s housemate.
