Help us mobilise EU citizens' vote as campaign enters final week

Dear Supporters,

With less than a week to go to the local elections, we are counting on you to help us make sure as many EU citizens as possible turn out to vote.

This matters because the Government has introduced legislation which will exclude many EU citizens from voting in local elections the future.

Complex and unfair rules exclude millions of migrants from voting (Opens in a new window)

Unlike Commonwealth citizens, EU citizens are already excluded from voting in General elections.

These new measures will weaken the representation of EU citizens even further.

Local elections in England on 2 May and elections to the Greater London Authority (Mayor and Assembly) may be the last chance many EU citizens have to vote.

We are working to make sure that there is as strong a turn out as possible by EU citizens to show the government the value we place on our our democratic rights.

We are campaigning at grass roots level and in parliament and your backing is what makes it possible for us to do this work.

Please do what you can to chip in during these last few days of the campaign.

With thanks for all your support
