In an ever increasingly high-tech creative industry, the list of tools and equipment available to elevate your creative practice can feel never-ending. However, as an emerging creative, these tools and technologies can become expensive and so it’s often necessary to prioritise which pieces of kit to buy first. This can be especially true if you’re a recent graduate, or leaving a creative organisation where kit rental is easily accessible and affordable.

For this edition, we’ve focused on kit essentials for photographers, stylists and hair & makeup artists, however, many of these tips will be useful to any creative working on a set whether it’s in art, fashion, film or music.
