It all fell apart for the foals due to some individual mistakes, some bad luck und some questionable officiating.

Bayern’s win in Cologne over last place 1. FC Köln on friday night was never in question as was Leverkusen’s 3:0 in Bremen, giving Xabi Alonso’s squad 34 points from 12 matches, equalling Pep Guardiola’s record with Bayern München for best start to a season.

Union Berlin scored a goal and didn’t lose in interim manager Marco Grote’s last match. Croatian former Bundesliga player Nenad Bjelica is taking over manager duties.
