Maybe Nagelsmann Is Not Our Saviour

Dear Supporters and Ultras,

first of all, thank you for your support! In today’s exclusive episode our Hessian friend Ronny Reng is filling in for Christoph while he’s on his honeymoon.

There’s only one topic in German football right now and that’s the utter mess that we used to call “Die Mannschaft”. Our national team. It’s in disarray, it’s in shambles. No team spirit, no individual effort (except from Leroy Sané - although he used his excess energy to try to get sent off in the first half and succeeded in the second half). No balance between offense and defense. No proper wingbacks. The list goes on…

Where can we go from here with the European Championships just around the corner and only a couple more friendlies to go? Is this rock bottom, yet? Or can German football reach lower lows?
