this is the second edition of my monthly newsletter and I am happy to welcome some new readers.

FOTM – Finding of the month
Selling software online has major benefits, but it is quite hard to understand and feel how your business is going. No one enters your store, no chatting and no personal experience. What is left are raw numbers. So I prefer to have beautiful numbers for my sales and downloads. Last month I stumbled over a very beautiful app: Trendly. It is a joy to use and to look at. Many interesting analyses and charts are available. It is done with care and love for details. I love it and use it daily!

I’m always working on the wording of my values and USPs. I find it important to check on my values and search for value creation that possibly makes my software special and attractive for potential customers. My current tagline:
No advertising, no registration, no tracking of personal data and no investors – just an authentic person who loves making software.

Auricula is an interval ear trainer to practice your sense of hearing and to learn the skill to identify intervals.

It is hard to tell, if being available on Product Hunt makes any difference, but now I even added a badge to the Auricula website. Only three upvotes for now, so please give it some push, if you like.
APP | Filmlog | 2.1.1 → 3.0.0 | Since 2013
Filmlog is a first-class private movie tracker and best in class iPhone and iPad app since 2013.
Available for iOS and iPadOS, supports 15 languages: Arabic, German, English, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, traditional and simplified Chinese as well as Turkish

Can’t wait to share the first link for the Testflight version of Filmlog with all and firstly with my Business Insiders. Still some hickups and small bugs to fix. It is going to be such a huge step for me and the app. Finally Filmlog will have relevant Unique Selling Propositions and feel like a grown up app feature and UI wise. – Can’t wait.

Next Size is an app for kids clothing to forecast your children clothing sizes.

Mostly positive feedback and feeling ready to launch in a few weeks. Still wondering if this app may be a good fit for my open-source puinte.org (Öffnet in neuem Fenster) project.

Puinte.org (Öffnet in neuem Fenster) is a website for a community financed effort to create better software for the general public: privacy-friendly, open-source, fully reusable and financed in solidarity.
Available for Web, supports 2 language: German, English.

Just managed to update and fix the website. All pages have been cleaned, text was clarified and broken links fixed. Routing for english speaking users now leads to english pages, finally. – Of course a mastodon account is also available and having a working website allows me to share it with you now without feeling bad.

Infolge.org (Öffnet in neuem Fenster) is a web service for following current affairs, comparing points of view and forming a differentiated opinion.
Available for Web, supports 1 language: German.

Infolge.org (Öffnet in neuem Fenster) did start as my diploma project and I still could not let it go. But if I can buy me some more time in the future, I would love to give it a spin as a working prototype with daily published new data.
