Film Recommendation

Most weekday mornings I take my young daughter to school, and occasionally, if we manage to get up and out early, I’ll have a bit of time to have a natter with one of the other parents outside the school gates. I spoke to one parent last year, who informed me that she was a ceramicist, and when she asked what I did, I told her I edited a movie magazine. She then asked, unironically, if there were any good movies about ceramics and sculpting, and the first and (in the moment) only film that leapt to mind was Kelly Reichardt’s 2022 work, Showing Up.
