ERNST presents: Mere Illusions
The moment has finally arrived.
If you’ve been following us for a while, you’ll know that we have been working really hard on recording our first album.
This album is such a special thing for us.
We started this journey a few years ago, with no idea where we might end up. We wrote songs, threw them away, started again, played them live, shared them with you, fought about them, laughed about them and then, finally, we chose them:
10 songs that we feel represent who we are and what we stand for.
And we couldn’t have done any of this without the incredible support we’ve had from you. It helps us more than you know!
And this is why we want to share these special news with you first.
Mere Illusions: Out 25th April 2025
Firstly, the name of the album. We had several frankly excellent ideas, including:
‘’ERNST - The Greatest Hits 1”;
“NOW that’s what I call ERNST!’
And of course the classic ‘Jetzt wird’s ERNST!’
But in the end, and after much discussion and bad humour, we settled on something a little more serious 😉
Our debut album will be titled:
Mere Illusions, and will be released on Friday, 25th April 2025!
