Greetings! 3

Painting the details is a slow process, and even when I get a lot done is doesn’t look as if I’ve done much. However, the good news is that I’m nearly finished painting the first greeting card and I should be able to start the second one soon enough.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my new members. I appreciate your support very much. Thank you.

So, I found my darker blue for the border and mixed up my yellowy-orangey-brown (which I’m ging to call ‘mustard’). I don’t really have a lot to say this week other than I painted! I’ve a few pictures here of the stages so you can see the affect of each colour.

Over the next couple of days I’ll finish the painting, after that I need to let it dry completely (2 weeks) and then I can outline everything with black ink. When the ink dry’s completely I can scan the piece and prep it for printing.

Thanks again for your support.

Mick.
