We talked to an expert on the written word and a chronicler of the British games industry, Richard C. Hewison. He has been writing technical user manuals for over 30 years and began his career in the games industry in the late 80s, working for Telecomsoft, Mirosoft, Sony and others. And he has worked as freelance author for numerous well-known companies such as Virgin Games, Psygnosis, Mindscape and he wrote for Retro Gamer magazine for many years. And since 2021, he has once again dedicated himself to the history of British developers and publishers and is working on a book about the video games industry in the UK in the 80s. He also is keeping Firebird's memory alive.
