Hello dear Good News community,

I was born in South Africa, a country that I carry deep in my heart, along with all its beauty, challenges and complexity. I sometimes feel a longing for my birthplace, so I was delighted to hear that a species of gecko thought to be extinct has been rediscovered in a remote canyon in South Africa. In a world full of challenges, this small victory is a powerful reminder that nature doesn't easily give up.

The German Federal Ministry of the Interior has banned the "Kingdom of Germany" – the largest known group of so-called Reichsbürger. The organization portrayed itself as a separate state, built parallel structures, and thus challenged the democratic order. Source: THE GUARDIAN

Gecko species rediscovered in South Africa after 30 years
