Following a career hiatus from live performing during the pandemic, Krystal connected with a new community of music lovers on TikTok and uses her platforms to uplift marginalised communities and educate her audience on racism and women’s, LGBTQ+ and mental health issues. The lack of minority topics in media moved her to start her own business, production company Cut by Krystal (Abre numa nova janela), as well as her work as a content creator, speaker, and coach, to be a positive voice for her community.   On this episode, Krystal shares her career origins, the importance of transferrable skills in the creative industry and the power of using your platform for good.
