Film Recommendation

I’m not going to lie: I’ve spent the last 45 minutes trying to Google films about elections, the Conservative party, the epic fails of aristocratic elites who have held their countries to ransom for so long. And I really couldn’t find anything that fit the bill. Luchino Visconti’s The Leopard is too honourable and elegiac in its depiction of a crumbling social dynasty. Alexander Payne’s Election, from 1999, is too morally slippery.
