Film Recommendation

With James Corden back on stage alongside Anna Maxwell Martin at The Old Vic in a new play about feisty MPs (current, much?), I've been reminded of his involvement in one very successful stage-to-screen adaptation. The History Boys, written by Alan Bennett, played at the National Theatre in 2004, and under the direction of Nicholas Hytner, it had a fruitful 2 year run. The 2006 film, also helmed by Hytner and featuring the original cast (including Corden, Dominic Cooper, and Richard Griffiths), racked up several BAFTA nominations and even had critics arguing it was better than the stage production.
