A Note From Ione

Hi everyone, sadly I am writing to you today with some absolutely horrible news, which some of you may have already seen on social media. Week before last we lost our absolute biggest legend, our managing editor and podcast co-host Eden, in an accident while she was in Madrid.

Eden was the best of all of us - funny and so smart, so gorgeous, she was so obsessed with all the right things; film, food, music, and just living an absolutely incredible life. I know everyone who listens to the podcast knows how amazing she is. On a friendship level, her loyalty knew no end. She was the one person you’d always want to bump into at a party, and also the one person you’d want to have to help you organise it. Over the last three years, she's helped make Polyester what it is today and we’re gutted that she is no longer with us.

Having her on the team was the greatest privilege in the world. I’m so grateful to Gina for introducing me to Eden, for being such an amazing best friend that she saw Eden's talent and having the generosity to bring her on board and watch her fly as our managing editor, co-host, and gorgeous bestie. We love her so much.

She loved everyone who listened to the podcast, left us a review or commented. She was especially gassed when people came up to her in the street and recognised her, thank you to everyone that made her feel like the little celebrity she truly was.

Eden passed away abroad, and because of this her family are fundraising for the costs to bring her home and give her the funeral we all know she deserves:
