Social Norms.
Seven years ago, I worked as an Au Pair for a family in Spain for a summer.
I’d been out for a day trip with other Au Pairs one day, and the trains back were super delayed. So by the time I got home I was overstimulated and my social battery was dead.
At the time, I was not aware I was Autistic so all I knew was that I was exhausted.
