Free daycare in US state of New Mexico lowers poverty rate, a robot that protects seniors from falls

Hello dear Good News community,

One of my biggest worries as my grandparents got older was that they might fall in their her apartment. No one would notice. Now researchers have developed a robot with gripping arms to prevent such accidents. It can pick people up, carry them and bring them back into a natural position, such as sitting.

Almost two years after the forest fires in Lahaina, Hawaii, reconstruction is underway.
