This Month’s Member Spotlights
Welcome to our first member’s spotlight newsletter! We have such a talented community of creatives on our Learner Platform, so we thought it would be an amazing idea to start shouting about them. At the end of each month, we’ll introduce you to some of our members in hope you can collaborate, connect and of course, follow their journey.
Koto Shimada is British-Japanese photographer and creative based in South London, embracing her identity as a neurodivergent, queer, and female artist. While photography remains her main passion, she’s broadened her creative expression by integrating illustrations into creative projects and graphic design.
Work I’m looking for
I am seeking opportunities as a photographer's assistant, pursuing commissions from brands, and exploring various photography-related avenues to propel my career forward. This includes the prospect of being an in-house freelance photographer at a magazine which is something that I’ve been interested in for a long time.
