Tolkien Lectures - yes, two of them!
The Tolkien Lecture (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre), at home with Pembroke College (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre), has been running since 2013 and has welcomed a veritable Who is Who of modern-day fantasy writers. I finally managed to participate this year for Maria Dahvana Headley (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre).
Birmingham University (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre) started out its own Annual Tolkien Lecture in 2022 - with Dimitra Fimi - and this year's GoH was John Garth (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre).
