While growing up in rural Sweden, I was surrounded by beautiful and striking nature, and I had wonderful people around who taught me to see it. When I moved to Göttingen, Germany, it felt so different. Outside my door was a city, and beyond it, industrial forestry and agricultural landscapes. But with the help of new friends, I discovered a different side of Germany — landscapes filled with natural beaty, if you know where to look.

I love focusing on the little things we often overlook. An insect hanging on top on a dew-speckled straw of grass, a well camouflaged hare on a brown field, or a fox hiding in plain sight on the university campus. These moments feel special because they remind me (and maybe you, too), that the beauty of nature is everywhere if we just take a moment to notice it.

Through my photography, I want to share these moments with you. Not the grand, faraway landscapes of exotic continents, but the beauty you can find in your own neighborhood, on a trail, or even in your backyard.
