Your subscriber-only June 2022 playlists

Pinch punch first of the month and can you believe it, we're already halfway through 2022. This means that in the next few days we'll be putting up our albums of the year so far chart on tQ – stay glued to the site for that. In the meantime, here are your playlist exclusives, coming out as ever only to Low Culture and Sound & Vision tier subscribers. You can catch up with nearly five hours of belters from all the editorial on new music on the site this past month, from Gwenno, Naima Bock, Pariah, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Black Midi, Lotic, Hercules & Love Affair with Ahoni, Manni Dee, FKA Twigs, Kendrick Lamar and more via Spotify, Apple and Tidal.

While you're diving into the ephemeral world of streaming, here's a tip that some of the pieces of music we commissioned for our Sound & Vision tier members are now appearing in the physical realm, thanks to our friends at state51. The latest release is a beautiful super-limited editon lathe cut of Sh*t & Shine's Above Ground Pool – like the GNOD / JK Flesh releae, it is part of state51's award-winning 51 Editions series –  a 12" record, in packaging designed and made in the state51 Atelier. Each comes with a spot-gloss varnish insert featuring artwork from the digital release, and a free download (wav or mp3). Check out what it looks like below and grab a copy here. You can also purchase vinyl and limited lathe-cut editions of Better Corners' Modern Dance Gold Vol.1, Brood/Cycles (AKA Nik Void and Alexander Tucker)' s Sleep Namless Fear, Alison Cotton's What You Told Me on That Journey in the Horse & Carriage, Siavash Amini's Not Yet Plant-Life, No Longer Flesh, Matmos' After Mud Guts and Välve's Geography via the state51 Greedbag shop here.

Thanks as ever for continuing to support the work we do here at tQ. You can catch up with anything you've missed from your Low Culture or Sound & Vision subscription on the site here. Do drop us a line with any thought, feedbacks and requests,

xtQ.
