In February 2023, we shared three territorial future thoughts in our blog. Two blog posts are more policy oriented. Economic trends shaping territorial cohesion. What trends will shape territorial developments and cohesion outlooks in the years to come? This blog post summarises some key findings concerning economic trends. Many of them risk to increase concentration on urban areas with growing territorial imbalances and inequalities, which translate into social fragmentation and increasing discontent.
