Film Recommendation

This recommendation comes from a rare instance of an online algorithm serving up something great and completely perfect for a specific moment. To set the scene: my wife and I decided to watch Mel Brooks’ Blazing Saddles on Amazon Prime as it had been a fair while since we’d seen it and we knew that we wanted to watch a comedy.

It was hot out, so we had our windows wide open. But because we live right next to the Emirates Stadium in London, we could hear the noise of the adjacent Arctic Monkeys gig. It was loud and very rowdy – people seemed to be having a good time. There were a couple of moments where our flat started to shake. But that’s another story.
