Cloud parcels
I fancied a different shape and was having a play around with pastry as I was getting a little bored with the same shape. These are supposed to be sheep but I think they look more like clouds.
This is a really easy and cheap recipe and a great way to use up any odd bits of meat or veg, using the pastry recipe from earlier or from the freezer if you've copied my idea of preparation.
Recipe
250g x Sliced Ham
150g x Grated Cheese
2tbsp x Tomatoe Pureé
1 x Egg (whisked))
Pinch of salt
Pinch of pepper
½tsp x Mixed Herbs

Cut your pastry in half, one half to side and roll out the other half about the size of a medium pizza.
Spread your tomato pureé all over the pastry leaving 1cmfrom the edge ( I did not do this). Next layer your ham over the puree, so it covers the base, sprinkle cheese over the ham than brush the edge with the whisked egg.
Turn your oven 180C, roll out the other half of your pastry and place over your base pastry, using a medium sized cutter of your choice carefully cut your shapes.
Place onto a baking tray with parchment paper, bake for 20 - 25 minutes, remove and allow to cool on a cooling rack.
*Allow to cool completely before freezing, will hold up to 3 months*
