Tour: British Textiles Biennial 2023

Gold members, book using the paywalled link at the bottom of this page

We have a limited number of places for Gold Crafts members for a day tour of the 2023 edition of the British Textile Biennial (Opens in a new window) in Blackburn, Lancashire. This year, the event aims to uncover the myriad journeys that fabrics have taken to and from the north of England, once an epicentre of industry. In the process it will examine the unsustainable manufacturing processes we continue to use today for fast fashion, and reveal the impact this is having at a human and environmental level.

Details

The tour will depart from Preston train station in the morning of Friday 27 October (between 10 and 11). A full itinerary will be emailed to you closer to the time, after your booking has been confirmed.

Places are limited so please book soon to secure your spot via the link at the bottom of this page
